in terms of being inconsistent, heretics > rrq for sure. rrq is so consistent (good in their region, shit the bed international events)

posted 1 month ago

not happening because g2 wont be in playoffs

posted 1 month ago

theyre good players, but auraless

posted 1 month ago

changing one or two wont fix the problem. the roster as a whole just chokers

posted 1 month ago

no, based on the odds, fnatic expected to win vs rrq, so it is 1 expected (blg win vs mibr) and 1 upset (rrq win vs fnc)

posted 1 month ago

yes g2 is auraless, but heretics is also auraless tbh

posted 1 month ago

*will

posted 1 month ago

easy 2-0 coming for rrq

posted 1 month ago

i dont undertstand everyone saying rrq will bomb out, they are good

lmao will still be better than their worst cs game in history

i have an idea where riot invites and make 4 team tournament showmatch, where the 4 teams are 5 best players in each role that fails to qual for champs in their region. for example we'll get

team pacific : texture, karon, meiy, invy, crws (HM primmie, thyy, killua, munchkin)
team americas : cryo, oxy, sato, kingg, eeiu (i'll be honest dont watch a lot of americas so i dont know how the roles will works)
team emea : ruxic, jamppi, hiro, suygetsu, derke (HM : less, any of the BBL boys)
team CN : slowly, shrimp, life, spring, autumn (dont know anything about china tbh)

posted 2 months ago

my top15 in no particular order
CN : SpiritZ1, ZmjjKk, CHICHOO
AM : aspas, zekken, valyn
PAC : forsaken, something, jemkin
EMEA : nats, ara, riens, chronicle, kaajak, alfajer

il be honest i dont play the game so i dont know what the patch notes are since toronto, but i thought champs will be played with new map pool (icebox out, abyss in cmiiw) so i thought there usually a meta update as well with change of map pool

posted 2 months ago

this rrq team usually very slow in meta changes. they need time to adapt and understand the new meta. and if champs will be played under new patch, then they're cooked. just like in toronto

posted 2 months ago

yo keep underestimating china bro

posted 2 months ago

agree with this take

posted 2 months ago

good news : crws post a picture of him sittign next to patmen and xferro on the plane. i think they got their schengen visas on time to fly to tokyo as well

posted 2 months ago

jemkin id say. we all knew coming into last year jemkin is a crazy goo dduelist, but him and rrq last year doesnt really perform. but this year god damn he explodes

posted 2 months ago

if we're talking neon only, i think Dambi is up there as well

posted 2 months ago

yes edg win means they make it to champs

posted 2 months ago

hi im kooga, i got my name from watching food wars (the anime), and i love watching valorant more than playing it

posted 2 months ago

rrq vs liquid gigabanger

posted 2 months ago

i dont recommend rrq as it looks like champs will be played under new meta so rip rrq

posted 2 months ago

wait so champs will be on new meta? rip rrq man

posted 2 months ago

even as an indo, i want talon to win so we have 3 sea reps in champs instead of drx clowning in internationals as usual

posted 2 months ago

can someone explain what is true stretched?

posted 2 months ago

not finished but i highly recommend everyone to read this one. its called Kono Oto Tomare. peak manga bro

not gonna happen lil bro

posted 3 months ago

im groing crazy that i dont find nats anywhere in this thread until #27. hes the best sentinel player man

posted 3 months ago

2023 wah their prime mechianically. but toronto version of them is so controlled and much morea smart in making decision ang calling. overall id say toronto is their prime

posted 4 months ago

im not an expert with computers, but kinda pointless for you to make pc good enough to consistently hit 100+fps but only have 60hz monitor, no?

posted 4 months ago

i want
EDG (great storyline, now has to prove themselve after not qualifying for intl event for the first time)
wolves (great vibes)
FNC (very good and consistent team)
SEN (we need them for viewership)
G2 (i dont want them but i know they will be there)
PRX (most entertaining team to watch)
BOOM (im indo, what do you expect?)
RRQ (now we got kushy and jemkin debut stage out of the way, they will perform better next time)

maybe, just maybe id want KCORP instead of SEN or wolves, just because we need the vibes in the arena, being this is their home event

posted 4 months ago

texture, derke, tenz (no particular oder)

football is not all about stats, G/A, and i think the one that should win ballon d'or this season is vitinha. absolute baller, making football so easy. definitely the best player in the world this season imo

edit: i would've said this even before natiosn league stuff, so its not about whether they win the most trophies either for me

posted 4 months ago

and btw, another arguments of mine is that winning champs doesnt make u instantly the best team of that year. for example, would u say EDG the best in 2024? no id say even heretics is better for the whole year without winning anything. but edg for sure is the best during champs right? so basically champs = masters, just another global events to win. doesnt really claim anything more than masters

posted 4 months ago

i fthe purpose of double elim is to eliminate 'the flukiness' of the result, can we all agree that PRX @ toronto, t1 @ bangkok, edg @ champs last year all not a fluke win then? i still a lot of people especially the westerners all claims these are fluke result though (all double elim btw, which should reduce the flukiness as you said)

posted 4 months ago

again, coming from someone from cs, in cs there is no double elim system. in fact i want to see single elim more when it comes to playoffs, just like in cs. it shows you need to win when it matters, not just being good but choked in the stage (for example spirit losing to mouz on major qf, if there's double elim system, maybe they wouldve get to grand final, but the fact is they lost when it matters, so they should be eliminated)

posted 4 months ago

yeahhh sado + henry was something elseeee

posted 4 months ago

idk, not really for me, its all the same, they are best team in the world at that moment. i came from cs which have open circuit tourneys, and in my opinion in cs, winning kato / cologne is as good as winning major. you can have big titles without it being a major. so i only applied my logic and beliefs to val

posted 4 months ago

i treat them equally, masters = champs

posted 4 months ago

still not better than scrawny launders, hugo harry, machine spunj, anders semmler back in the day, henry sado also back in the day

posted 4 months ago

i think we'll get wolves vs rrq

posted 4 months ago

the guy who dipped them in that holy river

posted 4 months ago

yeah but for they still have some maps where something plays sova. i dont like him on sova. as for jingg's omen, sometimes it can be really good but even jason's omen still better imo (but yeah, even mindfreak stepping in wont solve the roles issues though)
