Optic held up Yay while EG and Jawg held up Demon1. That's straight up facts. That goes to show that they were successful because of their environment, not because they're the goats. Aspas on the other hand has been consistent no matter what team he went to.

Been said this since day 1, playing with a group of friends will always be more enjoyable than playing solo. It's just not built to be a fulfilling solo playing game IMO

Rossy gained so much valuable experience playing in Korea with T1, and bringing it back to NA you can tell he's cut above the rest. Their loss bringing back old blood. Dumb decision tbh.

NRG can only go so far with skill alone. Need Coach and team to step it up. They didn't so that was their result last season.

For sure. IMO he needs both, a good coach (Potter) and a supportive cast. And yeah it sucks to get bogged down by the internet, but like all MVP players in the spotlight, they get heavily scrutinized when they can't repeat success.
i chuckled reading this. it's so true lol, He couldn't save DSG, couldn't save BLEED. all signs point to Optic being what propelled him in being noticed, without that core squad and foundation, he just isn't cutting it. Makes sense too since he was never a 1v5 type of guy without setup and help.
demon1 is like another Yay to me, need a strong foundation with a supporting cast before he can rise up. He's not going to 1v5 everyone all the time. That's just how it goes, and that's why he was never 1st initiator / aggressive duelist. Hope he'll shine again one day so he doesn't fall into the depths of hell like Yay did.
It's cool, you're not going to convince people who are so blinded by their own beliefs. I for one also agree can't assume Tier 2 will match Tier 1 until we see some matches unfold. If he stays bottom and have low impact. You can come back in a few months and respond with an "I told you so"
I agree with that. I still want to see how it goes before going all in with optimism.
No offense but you sound like one of those florescent fans. Can't assume mada will do anything well until we see him play in legit Tier 1. This upcoming season will tell us if he can hang or not. None of the imaginary, "He did good in Tier 2 so he must be able to repeat the same in Tier 1" type stuff. Just saying. Wait and see.

Same sentiments were had when Sacy and Pancada left Brazil. this notion of "betrayal"...It's just weird how people have such attachments like they can't go for better team or better money. lol. They're playing for their livelihood, whether it means staying in Brazil or leaving, they'll be smart enough to take the better offer no matter where it is.

I think maybe a motivator is that IMO, not finishing high school you'll have way more trouble finding work in the future unless you work extra hard. Plus, I think if you plan on going to college it's more enjoyable and you get to network with a bunch of folks. Maybe finishing to major in something you actually enjoy or are interested in will spark you finishing HS.
I met a ton of people who didn't finish school and more of them struggle than are successful. so i'd say finish that off at least then see what you wanna do after.
