well f4q were decent but didnt actually win a game internationally so hard to call them world-class

japan is the worst region... i think kr 1-2 , jp 1, br 1-2 is pretty fair for champs. vs is better than any brazilian team but br has 3 decent teams while kr only has 1 good one

definitely not direct to OCE since they go through APAC. i really doubt theyre giving APAC an extra slot just because it includes OCE now, since only one OCE team qualifies to APAC in the first place. even then i wouldnt want NA to lose a slot for that, NA is almost certainly way better than OCE
i dont mind BR keeping 2 slots, but if NA loses a slot just for an underwhelming Champions then BR absolutely should lose one as well

TS hasnt really proven anything, they just got through an easy group. regarding X10 being beaten by other teams, their only domestic losses since Stage 3 Challengers Playoffs was in a third party tournament where they were running complete troll comps and clearly not taking it seriously.
a camera exploit doesnt win you that many rounds, plain and simple. acend only went A like 3 times anyway. even acend said that they played worse that day

Even at Champions they did not get shat on, Sentinels were 2 rounds away from getting out of their mega-stacked group in 1st place, C9 made it to quarters playing close series against Liquid and Fnatic and Envy, the one team that did underperform, barely lost to X10...
they were the better team on the day which is all that really matters when we're talking about relative team strength. regardless, brazil aint that good just because VK beat/almost-beat/barely-lost-to/beat-with-exploits a weak Acend.
ik we're talking about the whole region, but the whole region of SEA is also pretty weak. X10 is the only team that has proven anything internationally, Secret just got through a weak group. and x10 just lost patiphan. Paper Rex and Full Sense bombed out of their events.
Australs got signed by another org I think. I agree that LATAM isnt a deep region outside KRU, but frankly neither is SEA outside X10 (and they lost Patiphan so who knows if theyre still gonna be as good). Secret is good but hasn't actually proved anything, they only made it to playoffs bc they had a weak group.
