in terms of animation and a "flourished" story, sure. Was it the most realistic and touching one? Probably.

Reykjavik might have been the most "hype" masters because it was the first one, but Tokyo is the best one for competition and it's not even close.
I mean, in less than a year, China as a region was able to produce a really good team in the form of EDG. I wouldn't be surprised if ASE and FPX (as the scene starts to develop to a more advanced level) become world contenders.
Not saying it's wrong, just felt outta place when everyone was expecting a lot outta EDG.
Even when Kang Kang popped off, dude had no faith in EDG to win anything.
Yeah, I think it was kinda an "off-map" for him, but I don't think it was entirely because he wasn't firing on all cylinders. Just that TL was hard countering him.
Dude, man is playing cypher on SPLIT. If he did anything other than what he showed today, he would be playing cypher wrong completely.
The aggressiveness of double duelists is not what won EDG the attacking half rounds.
His "poor" performance in haven (despite what the coach of TL said) was because Team Liquid literally played so that he wouldn't be a factor in any fight. He never got the chance to really pop off on haven.
Its not a typical comp but its a direct counter comp to EDG's comp. Team Liquid should have held defense a lot better based on agents.
yeah, since Kang Kang doesn't even play the same role as nAts and chichoo specifically wanted to play Liquid nAts
If they can manage to beat Liquid, I can certainly see them going far. I think it comes down to the first match because not only does the momentum matter a lot here, but defeating the technical number 1 team from EU is going to be a decently large shock to most people and motivate them far more than their wins against Navi and T1.
More stacked competitive-wise compared to pretty much all previous tournaments, though, that's because this is the first tournament since franchising started flourishing out the teams. Lock-in was too early for any franchised team to be readily developed and synchronized.
T1 我們會送你們回家!
T1 bang from LoL coming out of retirement to play valorant?!
Wardell is a streamer now. Though, seeing Kang Kang awp kinda reminds me of the old days when Wardell dominated with the AWP during the Ignition Series. Only this time, I hope Kang Kang can continue this momentum and not just die out like Wardell did.
I hope this guy creates himself a legacy that will last for awhile. I hope his performance continues to be top tier.
8.5/10
If he could pull of the shit he does with NAVI all tournament long, then probably a 9.5
ayo, no disrespect to North India, but I like South Indian cusine better. South Indian Chicken Biriyani hits different highkey no offense.
No one said they were a super star team lmao. Everyone thought of them as relatively 'strong' underdogs from an underdeveloped valorant region. And what now? Navi wasn't a t1 team?
this is more of a ranking than a tier list my guy
His awp is so consistent and his style of awping is just so crisp. Kinda reminds me of Wardell back in Valorant's infancy stage.
I remember they were storming through a lot of teams prior to champions last year and was actually hyped up to be a super good under dog team. This happened again when they played 100t, which was a match they should have won after throwing in fracture.
They've always been solid, but as someone said above, they never got over the first win hump mentality.
EDG真的太棒了!
ayo wtf was that retake. That was the fastest retake attempt I have seen.
I think EDG is the only chinese team to have a more 'balanced' playbook for strategies. Not that it is objectively balanced, but relative to the region itself. ASE is all about using raw aim and rushing in.
Im going back to Taiwan bro
Well, valorant was always designed to be a less mechanical intensive game like CS is and more strategy based to bridge the gap between beginners and those who know how to play. The same applies to pro play in many ways since most people have similar level of mechanics due to the ceiling being at a more approachable level.
tf, UB does not have a better roster on paper. They might have some stronger players, but the roster itself is overall not better than the nation. Prod and Dizzy are not pro players.
I mean, if he never left the pro scene as a result of the circumstances he put himself in, there is a good chance that he would still be a top 5 player in the world. I think it is extremely hard to contest that considering he left the scene as NA's best.
I said this mf could arguably still be the best player in the world and everyone was saying he would be washed. He has a talent for understanding the game dynamic and knowing how to use abilities that no one else does, so it's pretty hard for him to do bad.
idk, sen vs tsm aint the same without the og rosters
u guys doubting wardell and friends too much
We probably need to distinguish T1 and SKT T1 though right?
tbh faker set his legacy after 2 worlds
yeah he is. Leaf is much better than victor mechanically and awareness.
yeah but the val roster was based in emea
Yeah, riot sucks as a company. Carlos paid way too much for something that only "indirectly" demonstrated "support" for Andrew Tate's views.
I'm studying in the U.S lol. Though, I would like to return to taiwan for a semiconducting job sometime later in the future given their prestige in it.
I mean, I'd like to intern there soon
Yeah, its offered at my university as a separate thing from electrical I think?
Studying a semiconducting degree
Yes, but he needs to be more of a team player
damn, you finished fsn and steins gate? Thats like 150 hours alone wtf
I don't have an SS but I think it was on haven. I only ran spectre and I think I used sage in beta since that was like the only character I had unlocked that wasn't chosen?
