Pickems have been updated with Indonesia.

Actually, there's quite a number of Chinese users that have knowledge of VLR. I think most of the Chinese teams access VLR often, to my knowledge

posted 11 months ago

DRG is the only outlier of the group for sure.

I don't know about FGC, but Challengers Roster Construction Rules said it just need the majority of the home region for the rosters. (ie, if you have 7 players, 4 needs to be from the home region)

Here's the screenshot of the TW/HK rules. https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/1004473129709613166/1072846733014470726/image.png

It does, iirc there's a rule within Challengers TW/HK that stated if you started playing in the TW/HK region, you'll count as an import if you play/moved to China (and vice versa)

AE lost their two previous games too when they're favoured

Pickems have been updated with South Asia.

posted 11 months ago

Yeah, for some events like NJPW it has been lifted, but maybe for some events it hasn't as well?

posted 11 months ago

Fixed

posted 11 months ago

Yeah it varies from team to team

He meant the ZETA watch party(?)

posted 11 months ago

It depends if Riot applies the updated regulation

Covid regulations

Not confirmed. Just fuckin wait for official announcements.

EDG was already confirmed to Tokyo long ago in Act 1. This is for Champions CN Qualifier seeding.

Bilibili Gaming is a combination of the now-defunct Tales of Eastern (whz and Rin) and KONE (Knight and Yosemite) that had recently disbanded, KONE had made the EA LCQ last year and was the top 3 team before.

BLG never had that star support (as I like to refer it as whz + 4 sticks) to help whz, but with the addition of Knight, Yosemite, and even Biank, the team has more oomph now.

I honestly can debunk both statements alone but meh

Youtube, AfreecaTV... there's more to Asian viewership than Twitch.

I had too many bad experiences and pressure to not be overly cautious.

posted 11 months ago

I know, I reread and I certainly agree, made my mistakes. I just looked at the wording and the way I read it makes it that it was also blaming Lenne too

posted 11 months ago

The wording makes it look like they're also shoving the blame to Lenne too

posted 11 months ago

Lenne literally played only the last map with less than favourable conditions. He's put in a disadvantageous situation and you want to blame the sub. Lol?

Then they shat the bed over every other midfield teams.

No, keep the mixed roster. The team proved themselves.

China will get their own region. Riot won't let China be ruined by combining them with another region.

posted about a year ago

Yeah, it was rumored that CR didn't make Pacific because they were late at submitting their documents and those documents weren't up to standard

posted about a year ago

If they didn't submit poorly made documents with inadequate number of staffs, maybe they should.

posted about a year ago

No. I'm saying it goes both ways. Both are at fault. You can't pin only the coach nor the player.

Valorant in 2021 is much different than Valorant in 2023.

You need a reality check.

posted about a year ago

Nope, it's still a common misconception even until today.

Franchising eludes to teams buying up a spot in the league. The model is being used mostly with League of Legends and the Overwatch League.

Partnership is Riot's new system where instead of teams buying up a spot, the teams apply for it according to certain criterias and standards Riot had set. Once approved, alongside the organisation's own financial and social status, Riot also help with yearly investments, lets say.

posted about a year ago

The coach isn't always the issue. While there might be problems, who are you to say that it's completely the coach's fault that a certain individual can't play disciplined and not the fault of the players themselves?

Keep wearing the rose-tinted glasses.

posted about a year ago

There's no relegation. It's called partnership for a reason. As long as teams perform to the standards Riot have given per whatever agreement they have in order to be partnered, they will remain in the league.

However, Riot does keep an eye on the teams' actions.

posted about a year ago

Yes. Welcome to reality.

posted about a year ago

Correct, yeah. If I'm understanding it right so far.

posted about a year ago

Yeah it was first taken notice and it was handled rather appropriately (as in frostmind and Roseau lodging a protest to the officials), but the escalation with the NOC + PBESI is honestly where I drew the line

posted about a year ago

It was the management. The players had nothing to do with it.

We have rumors of joint gold between Indonesia and Singapore, standby.

VNG/VIRESA is also the TO just sayin, they're notorious

*Indonesian management.

posted about a year ago

From what I've heard from inside sources that rollback was imminent and they were ready to play (without further punishment)

https://twitter.com/NethenoobVAL/status/1656496473419436032?t=6lS5avyn093pbCtrSYKKjQ&s=19

Indonesian management got greedy.

I'll own up to my mistake and I'll change my wording.

My apologies as I should've been a tad bit clearer.
