Another matchup where I think the rematch will be very close, would definitely be an upset and would require some hero play from NRG but I think they can get it done
Their match with Kru I could see being very close, as both have been in incredible form as of late. I think it comes down to IGL play at the end of the day and I trust Haodong a little bit more than I do Melser.
https://www.vlr.gg/pickem/7728514c Will not be modifying further, although a lot of the matchups you could argue are toss ups. Just hoping to see some great games.
Don't sleep on Gregg Popovich, I can't wait to see how Victor Wembanyama develops during his first year in the league
I mean, the company that owns Valorant isn't based in India
Because they are a region on the Valorant Champions tour.
3 day breaks seems to be the norm for the interim time before bigger stages in the bracket, more than likely to allow ample prep time as well as rest for the players too. I don't see that big of an issue with it, they did that way with Lock In and Tokyo (break between groups and playoffs being only a day and a half though for Tokyo)
Weibo gaming would absolutely wreck house at champions 🤯🤯🤯🤯
NAVI's form seems extremely subpar currently in officials, having them above a team that they just lost to seems off.
I agree with EG's rating as of right now (because it is fair), but I don't expect them to stay in the top 5 after Champions. There were so many things that fell their way in Tokyo, including every single team they played except for PRX hard banning/not picking Pearl which I think is one of their weaker maps.
This is how I have it going in my predictions
90 % FNC vs. NRG will be a competitive rematch
50 % Two Korean teams win their groups
10 % Two CN teams make it past group stage
What was the biggest match upset over the course of this year? (Regular Season, Masters, LCQ) What is a big upset that you could see happening at Champions? Personally I believe FPX has a marginal chance to defeat EG, but its definitely in the realm of possibility and would absolutely shock the world if they pull it off.
I mean, him saying this doesn't do anything about rumors really. But it's telling how quickly he responded like this. I feel like this response was Too quick
Going to keep it real with you chief I'm not going to trust any podcast with Slasher on it
All that being said, still a massive risk to take on THAT much of an investment in a tier 2 team. I mean just look at how Disguised turned out, it will be the reason that a lot of these org-less teams will get a chance granted to them because if it backfires it backfires so hard. You could even make an argument a team like Bonkers should be given a chance because they at least made it to Ascension and even made it to the playoff stage in that event.

Complexity and Luminosity listed as the possible bidders, what would this mean for their future?
Nats - Sentinel
Whzy - Duelist
S0m - Controller
D4V41 - Initiator
then uhhh fuck it put Deigara as the IGL
One year old account and this is your first post, mad respect for that

One of One pickems
Lowkey I think FUT can lose to anyone as well
Crazy that DFM have only won 2 maps the entire season, that must be historically poor. Sad to see especially knowing there is no relegation for tier 1 originals. You have to go back to May of 2022 to even see the last time they won a full match.
I think it was imperative for them to have a positive performance despite whzy having an off day, good to see other players stepping up. I could see them winning a set at champions if everyone fires off at the right time
Yeah thats why I said your team in the first place, they got lucky at Tokyo that they had ASE in their group and not EDG
Would you rather it be pacific and be single elim playoffs?
NAVI 3 - literally any EU team left 1(?)
hate to say it but this is a very top heavy region. I don't see FUT or whoever the extra team will be out of this making any noise at champions. Could see Navi do well though if Shao stays in his form from Tokyo
RRQ 2 - GES 1
SKrossi overheat in game 2 or game 3
strong day for 2ge
Surely the pause between matches will be super short right? They have already gone far and above ad time slots for this stream thanks to the delays
