Be funny as fuck, imagine KC at champs

posted 10 months ago

Bren and Sideshow are easily top, imo the ability to cast at such a high level in 3 different games (the casted TF2 and OWL together before this). Sideshow has a great knowledge of the game and both have an amazing ability to weave a story line and bring meaning to a match which is probably there greatest strength. So yeah been and egg

Sounds like a good plan, NA bring back their chamber one trick and Ardiis can go fix Navi. Sounds like a net loss in terms of NA's superiority complex

Imagine if someone had told you at the start of a regular season when they were playing with bcj

All of the Turkish pro player would like to have a talk with you about why the red elderflame vandal isn't on this list.

From what I remember he posted about dodging a lot of rosters in t2 emea. I remember he was heavily rumored for playing with braveaf on Istanbul wild cats but only played one game for them (on to be fair was the only good looking part of that team for that game). Then copped a massive bag to go play Smurf in China and outside of playing on ping for Chinese Qualifyer to champs has been deadlifting that roster to places it shouldn't be.

This aged like milk

That's aging like milk. Ardiis and crashies deserve better

chamber took more skill then jett>
Idk about that one chief

But I love the vivo keyd core. Hope heat returns again

Yeah I don't like mibr from an org perspective. Mostly PTSD from what their parent company did to one of the most respected and storied Overwatch League teams by dropping all the players like a week before the season started (on of them straight moved from Australia to the US to play) then paying a Chinese org to run a dog shit roster put together in a week with truly awful players.

I think the big problem for OCE is there's no foundation to build and develop talent. Unlike all the other apac regions riot didn't look at it as a growth market and minimized to the point of shutting down the OPL in league. Combine that with big investment pulling out (/order going bankrupt) and the spiral continues. There's clearly talent, I think you could probably build a super team something like wronski, plixx, maple, bob and minimize would be a talented enough roster to be a threat at apac ascension. Would any of the best oce players be considered sane if the gave up higher paying positions in other league's e.g. wronski in Pacific, bob in NA gc, plixx and maple in China. No, the loss of sustainable income from playing internationally would hurt their careers and potential too much.

That would make sense, given it would also allow for whicher emea team that made masters but doesn't end up making champs an advantage over the other teams which didn't qualify for masters. So yeah probs a 7 team bracket with a bye for 4th position in overall standings

Shout out to the fish, man's proved he deserves to be in franchised Valorant as much as anyone else. Man walked out of that match with the second highest rating (as in vrl rating wise) playing 5 different agent's. You love to see it.

To quote an overwatch league chat spam, carpe take my water

But to add a bit more it's really how it has to work. Not just for time zone reasons but also for legal reasons, a lot of countries have restrictions on when people can work especially minors. Aswell if you have a live crowd it has to work around local time.

As someone watch eu and na games from Australia, yes. Set your alarm my man

Yeah nah it's Zelda, shit has some bangers

Sugerfree carbonated drinks are good for staving off hunger. Granted you gotta go the sugarfree stuff. Also sparkling water aswell I think, I'm pretty sure it's mainly in the carbonation. Just check it is sugarfree (or has fuck all KJ of energy)

posted 11 months ago

That guarantees DRX to Tokyo right?

Bruh what did I miss

Have you considered becoming a tradie. Sparkys get paid good money just to connect 2 of the same coloured wire together and not clean up the job site after they make a mess.

I mean that was like weeks back but anyway standard case of players back their own teammates. Every player does it, if not they're not backing themself and their team to have confidence. Like how right now marved is probably saying tenz is the best duelist player in the world. Is it probably cope, yes but they still believe it because otherwise what's the point

posted about a year ago

Damn this is sad, low key without heat I've kind of lost any interest I had in mibr until heat returns to the active roster. Hope it's not super serious what's caused him to need to step back.
I also guess this means we're likely to see jzz return to primary duelist while heat is inactive

Yeah, having watched from the days it started with Mr X, Sideshow, Bren and Reinforce I've kind of just carried over to Valorant show because I liked the personalities and such. Also now it's just the go to podcast when I'm at work or driving to uni.

If liquid played their assistant coach they would have beaten Navi. Bacon9 should start if sayf is still out next match

Idk, I think Shanghai dragons could have some unfortunate potential of starting their franchise 0-42 would not recommend

Ain't no body bothered to make multiple accounts and get stars and shit on all of them. Not even Luck_ has that much time on their hands

posted about a year ago

I mean their trending upwards, should be an interesting series vs Global Esports given how much GE love to drop their spaghetti

posted about a year ago

Mathematically yes, but given it probably requires a lot of extra stuff out of their control. No

posted about a year ago

It's definitely in for this week in Pacific, unsure about Americas or EMEA

posted about a year ago

You on some copium if you think they have better odds vs T1 than playing against GE

NA's best hope for making champs?

posted about a year ago

The Chinese teams are the most deserving of their spots, the only region that went through an open circuit

Low-key hotel take, would not even blink if haven left rotation. Don't get the hype

Other than getting poised when faze fun out of money or hazed there is really no other options

posted about a year ago

Honestly, this is the carpe effect in action. Man has carried over the fusion issues of good highs and really sketchy lows.

Imo would be on brand to lose to dfm then scrap out a win against DRX right after

posted about a year ago

Didn't bbl lose to KC....

posted about a year ago

Such a shame they can't, no one can

I really like the dichotomy on sentinels fans where the team is either unable to do anything wrong and there's always a mitigating circumstance or the other side where everything is trash and they're gods gift to sucking at valorant

Just a quick edit I also love how whether huffing hopium or doomium they're all so passionate everything sentinels always has some guy dropping 3 paragraphs on vlr

posted about a year ago

Anyone know if the Ivy on OGS is the same Ivy that played on Philly Fusion with Carpe in OWL?

posted about a year ago

I'll be honest with the style faze like to play and more importantly the way poised likes to igl I can see why you would prefer to keep baby bay over dicey at a Duelist position. Dicey plays slow and stable, babybay plays engage heavy and as the spearhead. He's inconsistent because of this whereas dicey plays slow and stable making him consistent

Also babybay's brand hard diffs dicey and branding is what makes money and fuck knows faze need money

Wait nvm it's kiles man's carrier went off a cliff after he WON CHAMPS. His playing in t2 emea and hasn't done much since

posted about a year ago

Pattitek, man fell from running emea on g2 to being hard stuck on a 6th place eu vrl team in a fairly uncompetitive vrl

posted about a year ago

They are just very far behind in terms of fps and most PC based games it's just not part of the culture. Japan really built itself off of its arcade and console gaming areas so that's where the bulk of its population's experience is prior to valorant they're next biggest success in a shooter was probably the overwatch world cup team. As well most of their players are transfers over from overwatch so the tack fps decision making and team play isn't there yet.
