na challengers doesnt represent the entire game thats why i have stats for emea league and pacific league too??????
the map rotation is a big part of why kjs pick rate is so high so u buff cypher to make him viable on more maps????????
cyphers pickrate at 20-30% is bad cuz one sentinel is much higher than all the others, u cant compare his pickrate to agents of a different role that would take up a different spot in the team comp???????
sentinels arent the only agents that dont have balanced pickrates thats why other roles need some balance changes too

one region doesnt represent the whole world?????? thats why when hes a little bit higher in emea but much higher in all the other regions theres an issue?????? if u base ur decisions on emea stats only ur gonna be very wrong

lets see sentinel pickrates in challengers na (kj - cypher - sage - chamber)
ascent: 81% - 6% - 3% - 0%
haven: 74% - 24% - 0% - 0%
pearl: 82% - 12% - 0% - 0%
lotus: 89% - 11% - 0% - 4%
fracture: 14% - 82% - 5% - 0%
split: 6% - 63% - 56% - 6%
icebox: 100% - 0% - 75% - 0%

killjoy is the preferred sentinel on 5 maps in the pool by a ridiculously large margin

cypher has a high pickrate on fracture and a decent pickrate on split losing his role to killjoy by a massive margin on every other map in the pool

sage has a high pickrate on icebox and a decent pickrate on split while not getting picked once on 3 maps in the active pool and having a single digit % pickrate on the two remaining maps in the pool

chamber is not picked at all on 5 maps and has a single digit % pickrate on the two remaining maps in the pool

the pacific league has not once touched chamber on any map, sage has an 8% overall pickrate, cypher has a 13% overall pickrate, and killjoy has a 75% overall pickrate

the ema league is a little more balanced but killjoy still leads at 47% overall, cypher has a 32% overall pickrate, sage has a 24% overall pickrate, and chamber once again has not been picked a single time

either u pulled ur info out of ur ass or ur just too ignorant to read the stats before talking abt them
cyphers pick rate is not fine
sages pick rate is not fine
and its nowhere near close to being fine
the sentinel class has 4 options and only 1 is being used frequently on more than 2 out of the 7 maps

so now tell me
are the pickrates fine?
are there not enough options?
or do u need to buff cypher? and chamber? and possibly sage too?

stop it already

u dont win a masters by not being tier 1

he didnt switch to college val he played both collegiate and tier 2 at the same time before signing with c9

posted about 2 years ago

if hes nothing special in tier 2 then tier 1 teams wouldnt give him a trial??????

u not watching na tier 2 doenst mean other ppl dont know abt him

posted about 2 years ago

nah hes in franchise league hes technically tier 1 now

posted about 2 years ago

i mean its the same guns they use in scrims that they use in the match i dont think it will affect em that much
and if ur talking mental side of things jakee was able to handle his mental when trialing for c9 to be signed to his first org surely he can handle his mental decently enough to not shit the bucket in every match

jakee has lots of t2 exp not just collegiate

nsic players and coaches have been signed to soar, bbg acad, nyfu/abx, v1, kcp, dig, geng, mxm, luminosity, imt, rise, col, tsm acad, knights, oxg, eunited, sr, t1 acad, dz
reckaroo players and coaches have been signed to c9 acad, ssg, or, the guard, knights acad

how many more signed pro players have to go through those teams until u would count is at great experience?
playing with that many pros/coaches that have that much experience or have gone on to get signed after playing for reckaroo/nsic is probably some of the best t2 experience u can get

posted about 2 years ago

these players must have played well in scrims vs other franchise teams or challengers teams or they wouldnt get picked up
why do ppl think they wont hang

posted about 2 years ago

did u even click the link to his vlr? he has quite a bit of t2 experience

the skye solo initiator is picked so u dont need a seperate flash and recon initiator letting them play a second smoker

this guy would not replace skye in the least for their comps

the na franchised teams are paying all their players 40-50k a month abt salary is not the reason

20 assists has impact on more than two rounds but ok

posted about 2 years ago

its stupid that it can noscope so accurately and shoot so fast it makes it good at close and long range

i would make the no scope inaccurate so it stays a good long range option but isnt broken close

the issue with a suprise comp from my experience running them with my team as well as watching pro matches is that the match is almost never close. Either the suprise comp will catch them off guard and they cant deal with it leading to u stomping them or u they will quickly adapt and the lack of meta util and agents will stop u from playing more towards the default way most teams play a map with the meta comps. Its a high risk, high reward type tactic that is very risky to use in a single elim bracket. My team only pulled out some suprise comps when playing on our worst few maps against teams that we knew liked those maps in hops of getting a cheese win where the risk is lower since were likely losing that map anyways and we have the rest of a bo3 or a lower bracket to fall back on.

jinggg is prolly the most over extending peeking everything taking every fight player in all of valorant
out of game tho no ego
if we look purely at in game he is the biggest egoist in valorant

any proof cuz nearly 500k a year isnt very believeable

theres no way the salaries are that high

when u lurk u should be primarily trying to catch rotates and find open space to allow your team to rotate freely if they chose to do so and after they get site u pull attention to slow the retakers as they have to kill u before actually going to site not going into the opposite to kill an anchor

since chamber nerf na tier 2 tourneys have seen jett be the most common duelist on icebox ascent haven pearl breeze which leaves 2 maps where she isnt the most picked duelist so jett meta is kinda coming back

when u look at map pool for next year we know of 6 maps that will be in it
icebox ascent haven pearl which are jett maps
fracture we prolly wont see jett
split changes make it impossible to accurately predict what the meta will be but if the map doesnt change much it could be raze, neon or jett considering theyve all been meta on that map before
and the new map could be a jett map

thats at worse 4/7 jett maps and at best 6/7 jett maps

posted about 2 years ago

hiko said on stream that nobody knows what the meta will be with chamber nerfs and he thinks that either chamber will be replaced by other sentinels or ppl will have 2 ini 2 duelist and play aggressive like in first strike/pre astra nerf times

guess liquid just trying 2 duelist and most other teams think other sentis will be good
