This format is actually shit bro, even if somehow FURIA and MIBR worked like crazy and became the best teams in the world their chances at making Champs are pretty much 0. It gives no chance for bad teams to improve over the year.

For example, last year we had KRU go 0-9 and then cook during LCQ and make champs. With this format there's no chance to see exciting runs like that one. Though on the other hand you can argue this format rewards teams that are consistent throughout the year, which is good I guess but again, it doesn't allow for teams to improve and exciting redemption storylines.
