Ewc effect on goat status

How much will ewc results effect your top players list or who your goat is? Personally it's been a fun event but I don't think it has any effect on players legacy at least not like masters or champs. I just don't consider it on the same level of official international val events like masters or champs in terms of prestige and legacy. So for example for me the goat would still be chronicle even if he bombed out from ewc and aspas with his team had made it here and won it all. Doesn't effect my top players list either.

Another example. Would forsaken be top 3 player oat if prx wins this event? He would have 2 event wins so.

None at all just a good tournament to let people know who to look out for at the start of split 2 like sopp or rbhg but then again usually those teams fall off quite hard

with how bizarre the format is it ranks as well as how 2021 Reykjavik would if it was played today in the offseason
good that emea finally is being competitive seemingly but i dont think many should be caring about the results of this tournament outwith the players themselves

Same. With how the schedule and format has been I don't think this event is as prestigious as masters. At least have been a fun event. With better schedule and format and if it's part of official val esports cycle next year it could easily become as prestigious as masters or even more.

If kc wins ewc suygetsu will have 2 events win which means he will be top 10 player oat but don't think anyone will put him in top 10 with this ewc win. So yeah I don't think ewc effects top players oat list at all. Oh wait jingg will also be eligible for top 10 if prx wins ewc and if ewc is as prestigious as masters but it's not.

Leo's still gonna be #1 no matter what. Alfa and Boaster could win EWC and I'd still put leo ahead of both those guys.

It doesn't really move the needle for any of the top players.
Although lets say.. BBL make the final, i'm now thinking jamppi has what it takes to be a top igl in the region.
