FURIA's decision to overhaul the roster came after yet another disappointing start to the VCT campaign. They finished 9th-12th at Americas Kickoff and 11th-12th in Stage 1. They have just one win recorded out of eight matches played in 2025, and that win saw the team field a group of five stand-in players from the North American Challengers circuit due to visa issues for the main FURIA squad.
