yay: The Final Take

I honestly think yay is a total fraud because he completely abused Chamber in VALORANT. Chamber was ridiculously overpowered, with abilities that can change the course of a game in an instant, from his teleportation to his absurd ult. These abilities give anyone who plays him a massive advantage, and yay leaned heavily on this to boost his performance. It makes him look like some kind of god-tier player, but in reality, he was just exploiting an imbalanced agent. Watching him play, it's obvious that a lot of his success came from Chamber's broken mechanics rather than Yay’s own skill and adaptability. It's frustrating to see him get so much praise from dickriders when it's clear he's not as talented as Chunkio thinks. Real skill in VALORANT comes from being versatile and adapting to different situations, not just relying on an overpowered character. Seeing Yay rely on Chamber so much just makes it hard to respect his gameplay. It feels like he's taking the easy way out, and it’s annoying that people don’t seem to see through it.

Duelists require true skill, quick reflexes, and excellent decision-making without relying on the crutches that Chamber provides. I mean... to be completely fair, his Jett wasn't half bad

He got the name el diablo from his jett, he peaked with chamber for sure. But now that he is primary entry and doesn't have an igl like FNS he won't be the same as before

I feel like this line of thinking kind of falls flat when you realise everyone else in 2022 could also pick Chamber and never hit the heights that yay did. Obviously part of his success was down to Chamber but his utter dominance was largely down to his superior mechanical skill

it's just meta and skill ceiling changes that fucked him over, c9 dropping him 5 matches in also caused him to end up on tier 2, which just lowered his confidence a shit ton

let me explain to you why hes failing, back when he was on optic, victor was the entry player, he is NOT an entry player, he was good on jett aswell but NOT as the full main entry, its a similar situation to demon1 and cryo, who are both good jett's but NOT main entries, just watch the games and u will understand, unless yay starts playing senti or smokes as well as jett he will keep being bad

this take is so bad
its almost like valorant is a team based game and the best players thrive in a good system, something that was clearly not present in any team yay has been on since optic. Look at the difference between Cryo last year vs this year, tenz in 23 vs 24, or cned on navi vs fut. Everyone (including me) called all these players washed but they made HUGE comebacks to their primes when put on a team where they have good chem, and an igl and coach can utilize them. Yay just needs someone like that too, as does everyone else struggling due to bad enviorment (all of NRG comes to mind)

Chamber was op for everyone else, his aim was just insane. loved watching him back in the days
