At the end of the day it is a company tweeting that out, incredibly tone deaf of them

It’s G2 I don’t think they care

And it was a little funny all good

this “I dont care” attitude of g2 is only going to hurt them in the future

Well it's taken them to have one of the biggest fanbases in the world so far

As an org, regardless of game

how so

their previous owner cost them a spot in franchising because of his “I don’t care” attitude, the only reason they are in franchising at this moment is because of dumb luck, and the spot that they have now is not nearly as good as the spot the would have had

Yeah that makes sense I suppose

Just gotta wait and see what Riot has to say about it.

Pretty sure there is a rule here and there about this stuff, but they might not enforce it cause it might discourage org social media presence & all that

completely outside of this whole controversy as a tangent:
should they not have been allowed in once the guy got removed from the org? like if I was a rep at the g2 org the moment that tweet of the guy partying became viral I would've been on the phone with riot saying yh this guy's about to go, but we cool?

the owner represents the organization as a whole, when they do something stupid it reflects the org and ultimately causes everyone in the organization to suffer. It is the responsibility of the owner to uphold a strong image of themselves

but the reason he resigned was because of the org wasn't it? at that point it must've been made clear to him the org and the internal board wouldn't stand for it. Surely that reflects on the org as an entity positively

yes, but the public doesn’t care to see that, the board is out the public view, the things that they decide to due go under the radar as they aren’t public figures

sen tweeting that out doesn’t make what g2 did any better

plus making a 9/11 joke on a company account is insanely stupid, in the off chance that the older demographic (who typically don’t tolerate 9/11 jokes) see that, it would not go over well

definitely distasteful considering a whole ass organization is tweeting that out
