It’s gonna be exciting to see different teams qualify for Shanghai, but it’s sad to watch the Madrid teams struggling right now. Do you think they are really burned out? Hope they recover in champs and we get to see these teams at their best again

think he means they've been grinding non stop since the off-season began. They played showmatches, did their own tourney, won afreecaTV, then took the hardest route to winning madrid which is why they're exhausted

I wanted to point out that tbh lolz they are professional players. I just see a lot of Valorant pros complain about the number of games.

#1 cs team playing 7 events from now until september. already played 4 this year

https://www.hltv.org/team/6667/faze#tab-eventsBox

meanwhile valorant pros complaining about 1 event

CS has the same boring exec though, there isn't any hard anti strat. Meanwhile valorant has just a bunch of shit util you need to watch out for, and the team comps just differs between teams

I havent been watching cs2 but I have seen a lot of CS, teams change plans against different teams but the overall gameplay remains the same, rounds arent played around ultimates or viper walls/orbs like in valo, the overall strategic depth in valo makes it much much harder to prepare your team plans as a coach imo , If you had seen loud vs sen madrid playoffs game, you might have noticed how sen were using their own viper orb in mid ( a little deeper) on split , this was their change in gameplan from last time they lost to them on split and it worked, so yeah the macros in valo are much more deep

you must be stupid to compare 2 different games. valorant has more abilities and each player in the esports has its own role and can play 1 role LMAOO

not that surprising. kickoff was a bad format which didn't allow for any actual consistency. and every year the state of valorant only gets better as the year progresses with more time spent during the season scrimming and coming up with new ideas and adapting better to meta changes (1 example would be gekko being played more on maps like Bind which wasn't the case earlier in kickoff)

burned out is a lame and convenient excuse for a lazy ass bums, like what? 2 tournaments already burned out? meanwhile their competitors and even in different games (ex: League) ain't hearing burned out in the middle of season even western teams like LEC and LCS JAJAJAJAJAJA

both sentinels and geng are inconsistent and overperformed their way in madrid JAJAJAJA

you ain't wrong.

there's a fine line between being "burned out" and just being lazy. if you're tired and drained after playing a lot of games and training, that is literally just normal. anybody who goes to school or works a job experiences this.

being burned out is when you physically/mentally can not do anymore because your body is completely done. you become cynical, isolated, confused all the time etc. it's a serious thing and we can't just be using it as an excuse whenever we can't perform. riot would be under a lot of heat if the league was giving players mental health issues.

ya it's crazy how their fans use burned out excuse without a second thought. it's in the middle of season if they really burned out then they need take a break and not compete or in extreme case retired. there's pretty competitive people out there aiming for your spot

My friends and I always talk about how his career would've been so much greater had he not suffered so many injuried but imo he is truly the most underrated gem of his generation.

And he's a favorite footballer among my friends who aren't even Juventus/Roma fans lol
