Single elim playoffs

With this format we will not be seeing the 2 best teams from every region at Madrid. It makes 0 sense why they wouldn’t have playoffs with double elim as it only adds 2/3 more series and ensures the highest level of competition. An example is with the predicted groups based on the picture showing the format having the 2 favourites to represent China at Madrid (EDG and JDG) in groups C and B respectively. If both teams top seed their groups only 1 of them can make Madrid? Such a stupid decision that ultimately decreases the level of play at Madrid and makes seeding hold far more weight at kickoff than it should.

what I don’t understand is why the fk is the tournament so short when it’s for qualifications to Masters lol, like why not start just start this shit earlier

They could really improve tourney formats and reduce burnout if the season was jan-oct or something instead of trying to cram it into Feb-aug

it will start earlier from next season...they had to wait for the CN league....mfs had ascension in late december breh.....all those stupid acts for nothing

So true tho
In americas best teams will most likely be in group b and a and they will have to fight each other in playoffs so only 1 will qualify to madrid
I hope they change it

I just hope that for future years we won't have 6 fcking months of off Season. Feels like I haven't watched competitive in forever.
