Hear me out here what if the V1 players knew they were going to lose their org to the G2 merger way in advance. They want to sell to Shopify (since no one else has the bag to pay their V1 super tram salary). They int against EG so old Shopify doesn't make championships so that old SR aren't able to prevent the transfer by still being contracted for champs.
