havent vod reviewed but from the first time watch
it has to do a lot with LOUD hard vod reviewing fnatic
a lot of Loud's setplays were plays that fnatic used to do, but loud made em better
and because LOUD took a lot from fnatic they already had a good idea of what strengths and weakness fnatic have
i dont wanna keep typign so il just say
- loud studied fnatic more than fnatic studied loud
- loud won the map veto, pretty sure any other map fnatic wouldve won
- fnatic complacent? idk we didnt really see anything new from them (similar to point 1 but moreso fnatic didnt have anything new cooked up)
- this is a copout but like whenn im looking at leo/Chronicle they dont look like themselves
leo is often in positions where you wouldnt normally see him be, maybe this has to do with ascent and ascent being a weaker map for fnatic but it just wasnt like leo to be dying first or being ccaught out (what makes fnatic so unbeatable are these 2 players, i hate when people say alfa cuz they dont see the impact the rest of the team has)
chronicle mental was awful second map, hes doing better so hes tryna go for a kill or an impactful play but he messes up when he should just play time or back off
boaster played the best tbh i think his igling was fine the rest of the team was just disappointing.
Yes, I agree with all your points.
Loud was clearly more well-prepared and deserved to win. The map veto was looking bad for Fnatic once Ascent was map 1. Bind might have been better than Lotus for Fnatic as well, but that's hindsight.
I do find Leo and Chronicle in weird spots more often recently (Alfa too). It's hard to describe, but it was showing up against other teams too, but it was much more today, and Loud was able to take advantage of it too. Against other teams, they win those fights, but Loud was not like the other teams.
