Can we just review how fucked Sen was by dephh and sykko over the course of 2023.
This guy single handedly played with a team of 3 champions (before marved) and managed to botch probably the easiest success story we would've seen in Val.
ORIGINAL ROLES:
Dephh: sentinel
Sacy: support ini
Pancada: controller
Zekken: flex
Tenz: duelist
Dephh didn't want to play sentinel while IGLing and so Sykko treated him like a little prince who would get his way everytime by allowing him to move to initiator and you can see how that completely fucked the entire team comp.
And people still manage to say sentinels had an entire year to make the team work, yea that's bullshit. This is exactly why they dropped sykko and I love the guy but he needs to completely remove personal bias (clearly still hasn't considering dephh is on M80 now).
Thanks for the year dephh and sykko, y'all are the only ones who could pick up sacy pancada and zekken yet still make it flop.

I mean looking at the comm videos their english weren't half bad but people are hating dephh because the sentinels roles were messed up with him on the team for example he could have played sentinel and let pancada play smokes which he is actually goated on but they chose not to. Also the fact that depph was holding sentinels back a lot like it felt like a 4v5 for sentinels most of the round. An example would be him getting 0 kills against loud in 7 rounds on haven which was a map sentinel could have won and even win the entire game from
we can blame dephh´s performance individually but we cant blame the role issue and how the team seemed to have no sinergy, ofc the voicecomms video shows the team communicating fine they wont show the bad shit, also their scrimbux shows that they were able to win matches so imo its just a performance on stage issue from the start, i also laughed at dephh but now after i matured because of kru´s redemption i realized there is more than "this guy killed less than this other thus the L was his fault"
dephh had 0 kills in 7 rounds on haven against loud.
he was the deciding factor in the loss and they would’ve qualified for tokyo at least if he held his own. dephh was not it this season.
Literally all you have to hear. Sen were 1 kill away from 2-0ing loud and qualifying to the playoffs. If dephh went 5-17 instead of going 4-19 the entire tragectory of the team would've been completely different. It's literally only on dephh and sykko for the failures of the previous iteration.
yeah dephh could´ve killed 1 more, sacy too, pancada too, tenz too, zekken too, you blame the only guy on the team who isnt meant to get kills because he didnt got one more while you have 4 world champs next to him, dephh played awfully and needed to improve his mid rounding and also his team´s, he needed to be a leader when his team felt anxious and useless, but saying he had to kill more its delusional, look at fns´s kd when they won the masters.
No it quite literally is only on dephh and sykko.
There are much smaller issues that lead to small mistakes in the team like poor trading and spacing, miscomms, and inconsistency but those are small things that wouldn't matter if they got the big things right like calls execs comps and comfortability.
This team was 1 kill from 2-0ing loud during louds peak in the league
- you wanna keep tenz on duelist when hes shown time and time again he is incredibly inflexible and can only play jett.
- we basically have these roles rn (only difference is pancada on sentinel) and they're shit
- you still wanna keep tenz on the team despite him being incredibly mid since beginning of 2022.
dephh wasn't a good fit for the team and it wasn't working out yes but the reality you wanted was not much better. Sacy still got to play initiator for lots of this split and was mid asf. Tenz played many jett games and was mid as usual. Zekken is the only one on the team who has been consistently solid dephh was not and never will be the only issue with that team it was a mess from inception regardless of roles.
