patuj [#14]Maybe dumb question but why people rate Zelda games so high and are always super hyped when new one comes out? I have never played any Zeldas but everytime I see footage of it it doesnt impress me and the new ones looks so similar to the last one at least looks wise.
Its hard to explain. You have to experience it to understand it

most of these people who rate them high dont even play it. just follow other people opinions because its a nostalgia game like sheep

Can't say I speak for everyone but for me it's the lore & universe. Its one of those where, after finishing a game, you just need more & more stories. Gameplay-wise is not the best franchise I've played but its good enough; the lore is what keeps me hooked.

for me its how the game is designed. I can play anyway I want. A quest can be done in so many ways. And how the game doesn't have a specific route to play. You can literally go to hyrule castle from the start of the game
