Such a shame that an EMEA team will get eliminated here in this match no matter what the outcome is. They have showed up big time in this event, and it would be nice to see them in the Top 6. Anyways, bye FUT

The Cease Fire All-Star Showmatch is an actual W for us PH fans, can't wait to see what they have planned for the international team.

Unfortunate run for Zeta once again, stomped by current and previous world champions. Still, I don't think they're necessarily bad: they're one of the best in the Pacific region. The problem is their spontaneous moments of brilliance can only get you so far against teams with more flexibility and planning.

And no, I don't really think TS could've done better or that this was a waste of an LCQ spot, they deserved it.

GGs to Zeta, but well fought game from TS!

posted 10 months ago

Congratulations to ZETA and the fans, they have shown a great performance here, we'll be cheering them on in Champions. And TS fans, please don't say the team is washed and all the other members need to get dropped. They had a great season and have gotten this far, they just need work with their agent pool and adaptability.

posted 10 months ago

Yeah, that Reyna comp ain't it. Jremy just wasn't confident enough to get those kills, and the team didn't really set up to help him get those kills. Also, Invy as a Viper ain't it.

TS 3 - 1 ZETA
This will be an absolute true test of both teams and whether they can step up and reclaim their spots as among the best in Pacific. Anyone can win this game, but I'm just going to have to go with my homeboys. Secret Fighting!

Well, you were gonna get it right eventually :(

My God, Zeta got them hook, line and sinker. Well, it didn't go into a Map 3, that's for sure.

posted 10 months ago

tf u mean? he was their team's best player as a jett main, but laz was just better. doesn't mean dubstep was bad. if you're gonna shit talk do it properly you little bitch

RRQ 2 - 1 GEN
Yep, Gen.G is shaken right now. If RRQ can overwhelm them and just have good aim, they can win this. Their mental fortitude is pretty good too, so if it ever goes to overtime, RRQ can definitely pull through.

TS 2 - 0 ZETA
TS, do NOT, and I repeat, DO NOT let Zeta get to a Map 3. You have beaten them before, just do it again.

posted 10 months ago

whatever nationality they are, it doesn't matter.
they took the L

posted 10 months ago

TS are one of those teams that are pretty prep-heavy, I'd say. Even before Warbirds entering, their team plays were very good but individually couldn't keep up with the best of the best.

RRQ, even before the franchise league, were a momentum-based team that could catch you off guard if you're not prepared. Even with their all-Filipino roster they had a good run, but combine the best of that team with the Indonesian playstyle and you've got a team that is slowly reaching a PRX-like agressiveness.

I made this comment before all the fl1pz drama, which is kind of funny

posted 10 months ago

At this point (Map 2, RRQ 10 - 9 GE), I feel bad for SkRossi, the man just isn't able to use Jett effectively. His op shots on Split were unfortunate whiffs, and while he has had better perfomance on Ascent, he has been Jett diffed by EJAY on both maps. Man needs to step up as the duelist if he wants his team to win this match.

Only compliment I'll give DFM is that they at least didn't look terrible. If this version of DFM showed up at the start of the season, they could have gotten some wins on their name. But that's pretty much it, if they're going to do some roster changes, probably keep Anthem and just rebuild around him.

posted 10 months ago

Nah, I think they'll be able to win if they faced Gen.G again. Their 2-1 loss was easily avoidable if they hadn't choked that 11-7 lead. RRQ though, that's their kryptonite.

posted 10 months ago

Man, after this year, DFM need to consider acquiring the SCARZ roster. I would love to see them compete in the Tier 1 league, and even with their recent performance, the experience in this league can help players rapidly improve and give them the much-needed experience.

posted 10 months ago

Did this really have to be the prediction I got right? Ugh.
Well, congrats Bleed!

posted 10 months ago

Really? Huh. Well, I still got Bleed winning this, but who knows? Scarz upset?

posted 10 months ago

Sure, they could go for a more diverse roster, but if Scarz gets into the league they will have to choose between Jemkin and Allen, since the league only allows one import from the Americas/EMEA. The most likely route Scarz would take is filling those spots with Tier 2 players from Japan or Korea, and at that point you'll just have another JP/KR team.

SZ 2 - 3 BLD
You gotta give it to Bleed, as much as people like to diss them for being the Walmart Paper Rex, they have proven themselves to be a very strong team even before the Pacific league. Also, I don't really want to see three Japanese teams in the league, I think two should be enough. Anyways, congrats Bleed, welcome to the Pacific league.
