It's a slice of life mixed with action every now and then. Its a refreshing take on the fantasy genre which has been riddled with a lot of fast paced power fantasy.

The main draw of frieren is its philosophy towards life rather than the fights themselves. Its not everyone's cup of tea but its pretty good.

Jersey looks cool but their logo is still bad

Enerii has consistently been at the top of APAC GC if she is "toxic" for wanting to win then I guess her former teammates couldnt handle the pressure of the competition.

you see a parent doing an act of love for their child and immediately assume its sexual. Get off the internet and start having a real connection with your parents

posted 2 months ago

what im trying to say is its common in asian cultures

posted 2 months ago

So many weirdos here. That's also a common thing here in the Philippines. Of course we dont do it anymore when we grow up but there is nothing sexual about it.

Ages 1-7 is perfectly normal for their parents to kiss them on the lips.

DFM the only team that matters this season

Anywhere in Southeast Asia.

Ranking by Viability:

  1. Bangkok - Has the highest viewership in the region
  2. Jakarta - 2nd highest viewership
  3. Manila - very good fan engagement
  4. Singapore - could have been higher than Manila or Jakarta but the tournament expenses could shoot through the roof
  5. Kuala Lumpur - I don't think that there is great interest from the general public but hey its a great city

RRQ will never pay for a buyout

NDG during the first few matches was really shaky but over time he adapted really well. I dont doubt that given more time and experience he can be an above average player.

posted 2 months ago

no. that just defeats the purpose of equal opportunities for all regions.

taking away slots from "worse" regions was one of the reasons why CSGO didnt flourish in asia. Now you want to do the same with valorant? GTFOH

i read somewhere that at the start of the year if you are Taiwanese or HK you need to declare which league you will be playing either TW/HK or the CN league. If you declare for the CN league, you wont be counted as an import.

posted 2 months ago

that's more because of a lack of practice rather than the individual players themselves because Dubstep just recently joined the team. Last year Oasis with Xavi8k, wildOreo and markkyyy were great aimers.

posted 2 months ago

its either NAOS or Oasis. Oasis has the best fire power in the philippines but NAOS has that veteran experience.

Look even if GE represents the region as a whole they are the one to represent India and Riot is marketing GE as such. I get why Indians would want to have a majority Indian roster its because they have been told that GE represents India.

You may not like the nationalism around certain teams but to a lot of people that is what's important to them and that's why they want THEIR teams to succeed and even if they don't get a high placement in the Pacific league at least the experience is there so they share it to their fellow Indian teams that they would be (possibly) leading in the future.

i beg to disagree. I dont hate GE as much as the next Indian guy but how does having 1 indian player contribute to India as a whole?

posted 3 months ago

i think he is referring to their first face off. If TS won against Talon the first time they shouldve faced off against DRX

Backstory before the cinematic:
Omen doesn't remember anything before he became a radiant so the entire time he was just looking for answers. Iso was sent to kill Omen but ended up joining VALORANT instead. Because Iso seemed familiar to Omen, Omen keeps on getting nightmares about his previous life. Everyone started to feel uncomfortable that's why they went to search for clues from Iso's prev employers.

Cinematic:
Cypher and Iso were looking for Iso's employer, they found a hint that led them to Jakarta Indonesia. Omen confronts the boss and then he gets caught in his trap. With the dialogue from the Boss, Omen begins to remember everything. He was hired by the boss to kill viper but viper turned things around and trapped Omen in an experimental(?) case that split his body apart and giving him radiant powers. Omen now knows the truth

TLDR: Omen was hired by the same boss that hired Iso. His Job was to kill Viper but he failed and lost his memories. Viper turned Omen into what he is right now.
