I wasn't taking last year into account. This year ardiis has been insane and looks like 2022 ardiis again

1. Leo - Perfect player

2. benjyfishy - Absolutely insane fragging, great decision making, actual untouchable anchor player and a clutch god, best vibes merchant in EMEA

3. cNed - Finally seems to have the confidence and the freedom to take advantage of his insane mechanics

4. ardiis - Incredibly flexible, has very good supportive util on flash initiators and still puts up insane numbers even on support roles

5. Alfajer - Actual inhuman mechanical skill

6. MiniBoo - Absurdly high mechanical skill and insane entry capabilities, plays with negative self preservation and enables Heretics' aggressive playstyle

7. qRaxs - Is good for like 5 free rounds that should've been unwinnable every series. Will frequently 3k from spots that should be at best one and done's and clutches impossible rounds while providing great supportive util

8. Shao - Fairly self explanatory, makes very few mistakes, has insane fragging and has fantastic utility

9. Wo0t - The other enabler of Heretics' aggresive playstyle, he's an insanely good second entry and fills any holes in Heretics' gameplan

10. Chronicle - Puts up insane numbers while playing hard support, insanely good utility usage and maybe has the biggest clutch factor out of anyone in EMEA

Honourable Mentions - RieNs, Sayf, N4RRATE, marteen, tomaszy, yetujey, Elite, SUYGETSU

Honestly I have them as favourites to win Shanghai. PRX have choked too much for me to believe they could beat 100T

Obviously if PRX win Shanghai I'll fucking cum enough to end world hunger but until it happens I will be on the doomer train

It's the Grand Finals of Masters Shanghai. FNC vs FPX. Initially FNC are doing well, they take the first two maps then go up 9-3 on the third. All is going well for them. But then, Boaster sees something. BerLIN has Omen TP'd directly in front of him. It's a blunder. It should be a free kill. It should be the round secured. But then a flash of recognition enters Boaster's mind. He recalls 2022. They have beaten FPX 4 times in a row. They look poised to win Copenhagen. But then they choke, and the chance at a trophy slips from their grasp. Then he looks back to BerLIN's character model manifesting in front of him, and doesn't see BerLIN. Instead, he sees ANGE1. And Boaster can't handle it. He begins stammering, shaking, his aim isn't what it should be. He whiffs every shot. And as his Vandal shots dance between BerLIN's legs, he is one tapped by his bucky as the Omen teleport finishes. Boaster then looks over to the other side of the stage, and manifesting behind BerLIN is a figure all too familiar to him. It is ANGE1. There in the flesh. His supple mustache, his croissant shaped hairline. ANGE1 reaches out and places a hand on BerLIN's shoulder. "Now it's your turn my son." ANGE1 proclaims. BerLIN smiles, and sheds a single tear. "谢谢大师" he replies, before turning his focus back to the game, and one tapping the rest of the FNC members with his bucky. He then proceeds to lead FPX to a reverse sweep, winning the trophy in front of their home crowd.

I feel like this is kind of an unfair way of looking at TH. They were 2 rounds off of beating SEN, who were the eventual winners of Madrid, then had to play a team tied for the most top 4 finishes in international events and again, nearly won. And they did all that with a stand in who's firepower wasn't anywhere near the level of the competition, as well as 3 complete rookies who's only tier 1 experience was kickoff.

Now that they have Wo0t, as well as some more experience as a roster, I expect them to make a deep run at Shanghai
