Vic and leaf have opped maybe 5 maps their whole career.

posted 9 months ago

The problem is that nrg if they fix their issues could be a good team again, like they were at Tokyo, but they will never be a championship contender with teams like prx and fnatic without dropping Ardiis or making additional changes

posted 9 months ago

Maybe I’m dumb, but it feels like you just think victor isn’t flashy enough. Yay will be the star player in this roster and the player whose trading victor and whoever is entrying. Vic just needs to be good with duelists and able to entry. Those players you mentioned are both duelists and the star of their team, but we have seen teams (navi/fpx), DRX, etc where the star player isn’t the entry duelist and they are still successful.

Why is he not an explosive duelist? Wdym by explosive? He entries and plays well on raze and Jett. What more do you want? Kang kang, Jinggg, etc are more flashy but essentially they all entry and play duelists, just like victor.

Alfajer 1.31 rating in Tokyo enough said

posted 9 months ago

Alfajer needs to be number 1 in terms of peaks
Shao and yay are insane but they are insane for consistency over peaks imo
Tenz needs to be on this list if nats’s Berlin peak is considered relevant

Completely aside but yay was insane in Berlin 2021 crazy peak imo

posted 9 months ago

Yay’s mentality (always positive + hungry for improvement) is what made him so good
His confidence is destroyed rn
He will take some time but he’ll be back I think

posted 9 months ago

Waffle
Aspas = Derke
Less =< Alfajer (lock-in means jackshit Alfajer hit his prime in EUROPE league and Tokyo and champs 23)
Tuyz << boaster (boaster frags way better even while igling)
Leo >> cauanzin
Chronicle >> saadhak
Boaster igl > saadhak (bro won two events with different metas and called vs different teams while saadhak’s igling has declined slightly)

posted 9 months ago

Why not victor full time Jett and raze while yay on sentinels including chamber? They have 6 months in off season to let yay learn kj and cypher.

posted 9 months ago

Can’t believe that this bait gonna work 🙄 well played

posted 9 months ago

Pass what ur smoking to the nrg fans, they need jt

posted 9 months ago

Aspas, less, saadhak, khalil, Cauanzin + CHET ez

posted 9 months ago

Cauanzin’s util is clean and he’s been improving. Bro quite top5 best init but definitely top 5 most underrated.

posted 9 months ago

Ardis ain’t baiting on Jett brotha. Cuz if he is whose entrying? He entries on haven and split for sure. Plus no one saying that marved and yay are bad, just that marved isn’t somehow massively better than S0m just for nostalgia’s sake.

posted 9 months ago

THIS hundred percent. Which is why victor was underrated despite being a mid fragger and why he frags now they aren’t on his team. He had to run and die so yay could hold angles and marved could lurk.

posted 9 months ago

Your telling me cloud trexx and Ethan are all better than davaii whose also igling?

posted 9 months ago

Optic core literally mentioned that yay and marved are the biggest baiters on the team. Marved lurked early in 2022, but by the end he was trading most of the time.

posted 9 months ago

I think moving victor fully to duelist and letting yay pick up killjoy/chamber/cypher would be perfect. Victor isn’t an insane fragged but he always entries and is selfless plus he has good movement. Sentinels should suit yay perfectly. NRG’s problem isn’t necessarily fire power, it inconsistently. Vic and crashies can be insane fraggers, and even Ardis can, but everyone other than S0m is wildly inconsistent. Pair that with the walking orb that is FNS, they need consistent, not explosive players

posted 9 months ago

YES YES YES YEs
MARVED HAS THE BEST FUCKING PR TEAM EVER
Bro struggled to clear 1 rating other than Reykjavik 2022
Insane at Reykjavik, mid at Copenhagen, mediocre at champs
He doesn’t lurk nearly as much as everyone says he does
S0m clutches the same amount as him
Bro had 2 good games on sentinels and everyone said he was insane
Mako is better
Pancada is better
S0m is better
Mindfreak is better in 2023

Normally I would think BLG could but DRX are in rare form. all of them are fragging well and their strats are as clean as ever.I honestly think they are either winning a championship now or never (without significant roster changes).

posted 9 months ago

No one considers them trash, they are prolly the biggest dark horse of the tournament. They struggled in Tokyo and in group stage comparative to fnc, prx, DRX, and EG. Their issue is their comps and something is missing, maybe confidence or hunger.

posted 9 months ago

S0m finished the highest rated controller and victor top fragged half of NRG’s total games in Tokyo. It was crashies who mainly disappointed.

posted 9 months ago

Less is insane, I think he’s more consistent then Suygetsu and slightly better than nats. He diffed Alfajer in sap Paulo but Alfa has improved hella now so we need to see them play again to truly see who the best it.

posted 9 months ago

Aspas looks kind of shaky this tourney, Cauanzin is playing well, less is playing well, Tuyz and saadhak are playing ok, but it feels like this LOUD roster peaked after lock-in while fnatic (specifically Alfajer and boaster) have just got individually and collectively better

posted 9 months ago

LOUD cuz I want them to upset
Idrc who wins the tourney, hopefully DRX tho cuz they deserve it at this point the poor guys

posted 9 months ago

Appreciate the trigger warning

posted 9 months ago

I’m not sure Zekken is that consistent either, or at least he wasn’t in the past. Flex players by nature are inconsistent. FNS also mentioned that victor helps with attack side midrounding. I think Zekken is equal to victor and has more potential but Victor should not be the first/ only one dropped on NRG.

posted 9 months ago

Bro didn’t preform better than victor in one tournament in 2023 all year long

posted 9 months ago

He was their best player in champ, 2nd highest rated and arguable best at Tokyo (top fragged 3/6 matches), 3rd highest rated player in vct americas. He was mid in 2022 but has been great in 2023.

posted 9 months ago

Whose gonna replace victor? Who is a better flex player in Americas league? He or S0m have been statistically NRG’s best player year long and he can play almost every role.

posted 9 months ago

Leaf for sure if they can get him
I think FNS values flexibility and leaf can play sentinel and skye on top of all 3 duelists

posted 9 months ago

This was un ironically victors best year
Shit at lock-in
Nrg 3rd best player at vct americas
Nrg 2nd best player at vct Tokyo (he topfragged 3/6 matches)
Nrg best player at champs

Definitely hope they don’t drop him bro improved so much now that he don’t need to support marved and yay
