Forsaken is indeed the main player who can shoot and cook, since he alone had his contract recently extended to 2026, while the rest (except Monyet) were extended to 2025.

Just need one trophy to shut all the doubters up.

And I'm still waiting myself :')

El classico with new teammates from DRX, definitely gonna be a banger

Unfortunately that is how the game always has been, that's why I play only with friends nowadays

Yeah I was excited seeing another SG org in the scene but they don't deserve my respect anymore after destroying my goat's career

Fr man, goat showed up, had the game of his life and just got dropped like that

My goat what happened to 'Nah I'd win'????

This is expected but not what I was looking for....RIOT SCRIPTWRITERS REALLY BEING LAZY NOW

With 8 teams the format can't work with 4 in group stage and 4 in playoffs, so it should just be the 8 teams battling out from the start

posted 2 months ago

Except PRX is actually inside?

posted 2 months ago

Honestly GenG looks like the better team right now over PRX, aim, strats and all are just better, and like you said it should have easily went 0-3. But you can't say 3 duelist isn't experimental, they won with this comp the previous game against T1, rolled with it and actually won GenG too. If you saw this comp by itself would you have expected them to win? Heck even Talon lost (as it generally should) with this comp on split

posted 2 months ago

No, no they didn't

posted 2 months ago

The other players (besides yay, no hate) in the team look good though? There were the 3 that brought the team to their 1, and egoist showed why he deserved to be on the team during kick off

posted 3 months ago

I mean it was their old Bind comp, but the way they played it was horrible.

Did the triple duelist comp games on split not give you heart attacks?

posted 3 months ago

From the rounds I see at least he's using his utils properly and his roza ult rate is way lower than Jinggg's XD. That being said his stats don't look very good and I'm worried about PRX putting him as solo duelist on Ascent, because he hasn't been that impact entry fragger like something or Jinggg or even forsaken as a duelist.

But hey they're putting him on smokes for Breeze and Sunset when they cook stuff, so I suppose they can experiment a bit more with him around.

I've come to just accept PRX will deliver exciting games, but may not necessarily win. Still supporting them, but lesser heart attacks.

The Kim dynasty (and Munchkin) made it to an international tournament! Now it's a rematch of Group C

posted 3 months ago

PRX was choking alot in champs GF, they played the old bind comp which they looked so lost in (overcooked with it), I think the pressure of this being Jinggg's last game with the team in a while caused them to make a lot of mistakes. Also, everyone in EG woke up for GF, jawgemo and boostio were just destroying PRX on Lotus iirc.

Been a fan since that round against Optic on Haven back in 2022. Was sad to see him leave DRX, but glad that he's showing up in CN scene

posted 3 months ago

Optic/XSET - got dismantled/TGRD - only made it to one masters, and lost 2 games immediately to get kicked out ---> NRG - literally Optic core but ok/EG - the real surprise and outlier here
LOUD --> LOUD (The only one that stayed the same)
LEV/KRU ---> KRU had a really great run, Lev was really close but there can only be one slot for LCQ
FPX/TL/Fnatic ---> Navi - literally FPX core but ok/Giants - Fnatic won them a slot/TL/Fnatic/FUT- Fnatic won them a slot

posted 3 months ago

"Just a kick off event" - the schedule is that if you lose 2 back to back games you're out of one Masters in a year, and that really sucks for players and fans alike, because they won't be playing for a while - made especially worse when there was such a long off season before this.

We see yay play Neon, Skye, Viper, Jett, Viper over 5 maps, and now we gotta wait for like 1-2 months? Before we can see him and Bleed play again.

Governor really said "governing time" and governed all over them.

Lenne the IGL showing why he didn't deserve to be on TS bench last year.

Even Ban did really well on his Yoru and Kay/O

posted 3 months ago

Dubstep really improved a lot last year, compared to 2022. Was excited to see him improve and play more in tier 1 this year, hopefully he proves his worth in t2

posted 3 months ago

Well lenne was in TS. Guess it's revenge arc from him

posted 3 months ago

they forgot about that

posted 3 months ago

And PRX won Loud. It's a cycle, we aren't getting out

posted 3 months ago

Hopefully they'll be able to perform great this upcoming ascension, love to see more MY/SG players get recognition, or well, exposure - to least get people talking - at this point of time.

posted 4 months ago

Honestly his aim is really crisp, I want to say that's kinda the only thing I give him credit for, not saying everything else is bad, but because it feels like his team plays very well in general such that he doesn't steal the spotlight besides his crisp aim

Also blue Gaia vengeance skin is the goat, I think he's the only pro player to use it consistently?

I think so, pretty insane "group of death" rounds that was for sure

Susanto family feud for us to watch

That doesn't really make sense. Are you saying have 2 people in sync is better than a 5 man team playing off one another and being in sync? I wrote my previous comment in a kinda joking way, but we could see Jinggg and Forsaken were the anchor for most of 2022, which is where I agree their double duelist looked very good.

But in 2023 everyone stepped up. Forsaken went to flex, and I don't think there was more synergy between him and Jinggg, than him supporting the whole team? And in this DRX match on lotus/breeze without Jinggg, they were trading and covering fire for one another.

posted 5 months ago

They looked good in groups for Champs, beating Navi and Loud, two very strong teams. Even came back from a large deficit against Bilibili I believe?

posted 5 months ago

do you need to find a duo synergy when you can have a 5 man swing and kill team? They look very good swinging together and trading one another against DRX

posted 5 months ago

Always the last moment he shows he's actually a flex player after all...

posted 5 months ago

Forsaken Yoru is an absolute beast...literally going into ult almost every other round.

posted 5 months ago

Monyet Raze. Forsaken Yoru. Mindfreak Omen. Who else????

posted 5 months ago

One region being competitive doesn't mean anything if the teams that got top seeds through this competitiveness still lose to PRX in international games. With Jinggg on the team, PRX won against KRÜ, NRG, Loud and even EG once during the international events this year, so I feel they are just better than America teams in general.

With all that said, Sentinel's new team looks good this off season, and it looks like PRX's firepower is gonna hurt with Jinggg gone, unless they manage to fit Monyet into the W gaming system.

posted 5 months ago

As a PRX fan there was a chance to see them face off against Sentinels in Lock in, and sadly that didn't happen - but we get to see it at the end of the year now! Even the PRX players said so - "I heckin love Tenz"

posted 6 months ago

AGAIN I'M SUPER LATE, mainly because I was on some PRX loss recovery period and steered clear of VLR.

Thanks for this latest explanation, I see what you mean now.

Their latest addition is Monyet, who played duelist previously before playing controller for GE this year - and being damn good at it. So hopefully they can cook up more stuff with Monyet being a more flexible player.

posted 8 months ago

As a Singaporean fan I don't really care lmao just bring us the W gaming and we're all good to go, doesn't matter who's playing. Besides, we're a country with a lot of foreigners living here, and we already had foreigners representing our team in sports as well.

posted 8 months ago

My comment will just be based off what I saw - without ratings and stats:

Besides his own skills - which I give credit to - another point I feel to take into consideration yay's success is the Optic team that he was on. I feel FNS and the team managed to set him up to play really well, whether be it Jett or Chamber based on the plays. You mentioned DSG not being able to set him up for success - which kind of prove my point that the team is very important to how the player shines too.

Hopefully next year he's able to be set up for success too.

posted 8 months ago

I'm quite late with the reply, but who forces them? Alecks? Forsaken? Their bosses? Nobody's forcing them to play double duelist, it's just how they roll. For something on breach, I don't think he knows how to play other duelists besides Jett and Reyna as well, and if you have a great Neon and Raze player already in your team, why fix what's broken?

I'm not sure if you realised but even Forsaken played Skye this champs in group stage (Iirc), and they went with Jinggg as the solo duelist. It's just how they want to play the maps

posted 9 months ago

Well well well, we have a rematch of PRX vs EG again. PRX gonna ban Fracture and Haven I suppose.

WHERE THE TOXIC NA FANS AT

posted 9 months ago

Honestly they have been putting in effort to make it work. I believe it's the map with the most molly lineups prepared by the team (which isn't a lot since there's only phoenix and KJ but still), and one where they are super flexible and found a lot of success exploiting opponents. There's so many rounds where they managed to send KJ all the way to their spawn with a lurk easily.

With how much success they have found with phoenix, which I believe they took from C9 during lock//in and made it their own, I'm surprised why no other teams have tried replicating it. The flashes are almost impossible to dodge even by pros, and his ult on a mechanically cracked player provides so much value.
